ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Conservation International
Founded in 1987, Conservation International (CI) aims to protect life on Earth and to demonstrate that human societies will thrive when in balance with nature. Their work is inspired by the core values that have been with CI since day one: passion, respect, integrity, optimism, and courage. For over two decades, they have worked with their partners to protect life on Earth and to date, they have conserved over 143 million terrestrial acres and 80 million acres of marine area; succeeded in helping safeguard 32 million acres of indigenous area; and undertaken carbon projects to benefit local communities in 11 countries.
Fauna & Flora International
Founded in 1903, Fauna & Flora International is the world's first international conservation organization. They work through local partnerships to act as a catalyst for change, to make conservation relevant and to base decisions on sound science. Fauna & Flora International empowers its partners to address locally identified priorities, recognizing that conservation cannot rely on the work of outsiders in the long term. It is crucial to develop local support and institutional frameworks capable of conserving their own biodiversity. They recognize that threats to biodiversity are the outcome of a complex array of underlying social, economic and political pressures. Fauna & Flora International aims to change the policy and behavior that contribute to biodiversity loss.

They are the lead disaster relief agency for animals, and they provide direct care for thousands of animals at our sanctuaries and rescue facilities, wildlife rehabilitation centers, and mobile veterinary clinics.

SOCIAL CHANGE
Agape Foundation
Founded in 1969, the Agape Foundation raises and distributes funds to groups working for nonviolent social change. Agape provides seed grants, loans and fiscal sponsorship to organizations addressing the following six areas: peace, human rights, environmental protection, economic justice, progressive arts and media, and grassroots organizing support. The Agape Foundation expresses its commitment to a just and peaceful world by funding the nonviolent social change organizations that will create that world. Unlike social services that aid and assist individuals, social change efforts confront the root causes of social problems by challenging the responsible systems and institutions. It is in this way that Agape works to create a just and peaceful world.
