The graceful greyhound often meets with cruel treatment and suffers through a dangerous racing career. Retired Racers, an organisation in Acton, CA, is devoted to rescuing these noble dogs from the perils of the track and providing good homes for them. Those who participated in the Zookeepers adoption program received "Pacer" the miniature greyhound Wee Beastie, as well as information about their adopted greyhound.
