Disney Auctions is proud to present "Brave Little Tailor," another in the long line of figurine boxes to emerge from our collaboration with Harmony Kingdom, the renowned U.K.-based manufacturer of these artistic collectibles. Officially authorized by Disney Auctions and sculpted in rich detail by artist Robert King, this captivating resin box depicts the heroic Mickey Mouse on the receiving end of kisses from the fair maiden Minnie in a scene inspired by the classic 1938 short cartoon.

Produced in China, this unique collectible, a Disney Auctions exclusive available only on our website, was created in a limited edition of 350 pieces.

The "Brave Little Tailor" box is cast from molds made in the style of netsuke, a form of small sculpture that originated in Japan during the 17th century and became popular in Europe during the 19th century. Objects created in this style were often beautifully decorated with elaborate carving, lacquer work, or inlays of rare and exotic materials, including wood, ivory, precious metals and semi-precious stones. Today, contemporary netsuke of the finest quality are still being carved by artists throughout the world, exploring new techniques, new materials and new subject matter to create original works of art that reflect their own time and place.
